We're looking for a talented and experienced Senior Event Manager to join our growing team at Invoke Creative.
From standout corporate events and brand activations to bespoke weddings and private celebrations, you'll play a key role in bringing exceptional experiences to life across Ireland and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
Event Planning and Delivery:
Lead the planning and delivery of events across corporate, property-sector, bespoke private and wedding clients, from intimate gatherings to large-scale productions.
Develop creative concepts, themes and formats in collaboration with clients and the wider Invoke team, translating current trends into curated set design, entertainment, catering and styling.
Create detailed event plans, production schedules, run-of-show documents and timelines.
Manage events on site, overseeing build, live delivery and de-rig to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Lead post-event wrap-ups, including client debriefs, supplier feedback and final reconciliation.
Client Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong, trusted relationships through clear and consistent communication.
Interpret client briefs and present proposals, creative decks and budgets with confidence.
Manage client expectations, approvals and change requests throughout the planning process.
Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, stakeholders and partners.
Weddings and Private Celebrations:
Plan and deliver weddings and milestone celebrations with a personal, considered approach, guiding couples and families from first consultation through to the day itself.
Support destination events in Portugal and beyond, including venue liaison, local supplier coordination, and guest logistics.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the Event Director and Events Executive to share workload, align on priorities and maintain consistently high standards across all events.
Support, mentor and delegate to event coordinators, freelance staff and on-site crew.
Collaborate with Invoke’s branding and digital teams to ensure event creative, invitations and communications are consistently on brand.
Budget and Supplier Management:
Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring every event is delivered within agreed financial parameters.
Source, brief and manage venues, suppliers and contractors, building and maintaining Invoke’s trusted supplier network.
Negotiate contracts to secure the best rates and terms without compromising on quality.
Track spend, report on event financials and manage final reconciliations.
Logistics and Operations:
Coordinate all logistical elements, including venue selection, catering, AV and production, transport and accommodation, in Ireland and overseas.
Oversee health and safety requirements, permits, insurance and risk assessments, ensuring all events comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Manage on-site issues and emergencies calmly and effectively.
Innovation and Trends:
Stay ahead of trends across events, hospitality, design and entertainment, bringing fresh ideas to every brief.
Identify new suppliers, venues and technologies that elevate the guest experience.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in event management, delivering premium corporate, private and/or wedding events.
Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously, from concept through to delivery.
Expertise in budgeting: creating, managing and reconciling event budgets with a focus on cost control and value.
Strong negotiation skills and an established network of suppliers and venues in Ireland; experience in Portugal or other international destinations is a strong advantage.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel for budget tracking and financial reporting.
Experience with event management software and project management tools.
Proficiency in design tools such as Canva for event presentations and materials.
A creative eye with a strong sense of style and design, and a passion for current and emerging trends.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to present to clients at a senior level.
Proven leadership skills, with experience motivating and mentoring a team.
Calm and solutions-focused on site, able to problem-solve quickly and creatively under pressure.
Detail-oriented and highly organised, with a genuine commitment to exceptional client service.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as the event calendar requires, and willingness to travel, including to Portugal and other international destinations.
Full Clean Driving Licence essential.
What We Offer
€55,000 – €60,000 base salary + 10% performance-based bonus, with annual salary reviews.
23 days annual leave + 10 public holidays.
Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
Early Finish Fridays.
